Danilo Diaz Granados: The Great Hispanic Entrepreneur and Investor

Danilo Diaz Granados is a Miami-based entrepreneur who is famously known for co-founding the luxury boutique, Toys for Boys. As the name suggests, the boutique targets Miami men who have enough to spend on luxurious items. Mr. Granados collaborated with Rafael Gill to establish the showroom. The boutique sells items such as exotic automobiles, well-designed suits, timepieces, contemporary art among others.

Being a serial investor and an entrepreneur, Mr. Granados can identify what business area is unexploited and use the opportunity to create a profitable business venture. He is known for spotting lucrative business opportunities. He realized that the market for luxury goods was untapped and that the Latino community in Miami needed a store that sold exclusive items. Because there are many Latinos in Miami, Danilo saw a perfect opportunity to set up a boutique to cater for them. In 2013, he transformed the luxury concept and established the Toys for Boys boutique.

The boutique has been well received since its inception. Today, the store receives high-profile customers such as Miami’s HEAT’s Juwan Howard, Tomas Regalado, Roger Mason Jr and JornWerdelin. To appreciate the boutique’s clients, Danilo Granados and Rafael Gill occasionally hold unique parties. Last summer, the two held a fun-filled event that was attended by hand-picked guests.

Danilo Diaz Granados and his partner acknowledge their guests by treating them to royal cuisine, fine art, and entertainment that is worth Miami’s extravagant lifestyle. The July event had additional activities like helicopter rides, time at the racetrack and a sunset boat ride. During the event, Mr. Granados said that he wanted to give his guests a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Apart from his responsibilities at Toys for Boys, Mr. Granados is involved in video production. He is the founder of Edge of Glory Films, LLC, a Miami-based film production company. At the firm, Danilo focuses on producing films that relate to Hispanic topics and interests. He serves as the editor, producer, promoter, marketer and the distributor of communications content.

Danilo Diaz Granados is a Babson College alumnus who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Entrepreneurship. Danilo also has a master’s degree in Business Administration from IE Business School. Danilo’s business education background, hardworking nature and proactive approach to business matters have enabled him to be a notable Hispanic entrepreneur.
