All Natural Wen from the All Natural Chaz Dean

The Wen product line began with a cleansing and conditioning shampoo. Traditional shampoo strips hair of oils and then conditioners are intended to add moisture thereby replacing oil. Wen hair can not only do that in a single step instead of two, it will do it naturally without the harsh stripping process, allowing hair to maintain its own natural beauty, and vital oils. A quick review of the ingredients will reveal no sulfates or detergents. And with a varied selection of enchanting scents, Chaz Dean’s Wen hair care products can be purchased on Sephora alone or as full hair care sets based on unique needs. Also see,

A February posting on recounts a seven-day experiment by a busy young female who works in a hair salon and struggles with fine hair. She decided to perform her own Wen experiment. As early as her first day, her hair began to feel thicker, had more shine, and she noted less hair about the drain and day one went down as a success.

Days two, three and four were a bit concerning as she noted she was waking up to flat, greasy hair. On day four, she even commented that it was a killer “bad hair day.” Yet, she still had that beautiful shine and bounce and after shampooing, and the result remained awesome. And, she didn’t give up.

Day five was another success with soft, bouncy curls and day six, our tester determined that morning showers would be more effective for her, even though evening was her preference. And on an outing with friends at the end of day six, they commented on how great her hair was looking. Very cool!

On day seven even though her bouncy curls were falling a bit sooner than she would have liked, her hair was looking and feeling great! Despite some tough moments during the week, she could see herself becoming a regular Wen user.

No matter how you look at it, the end results include beautiful, healthy, easy to manage hair for each user.

The Danger Of Synthetic Fragrances In Your Hair Care Products

In addition to wanting to look beautiful, we all want to smell amazing. That’s why most beauty and hair care products use fragrances. When picking out a new shampoo or conditioner, a large portion of women make their decision based on both what the product promises to do and what it smells like.

The problem, however, is that most commercial hair care brands use synthetic fragrances that are full of harmful and toxic chemicals. An alarming 95% of the chemicals used in synthetic fragrances come from petrochemicals. These petrochemicals trigger allergic reactions in many people and can also lead to serious health problems like hormonal imbalances, birth defects and even some forms of cancer.

It’s important to know that every time you read the ingredient list of a hair care product and you see the word “fragrances,” you are looking at a hair care product that contains these toxic chemicals.

Luckily, there are products available that do not use synthetic fragrances. These products will keep your hair healthy and soft without the use of dangerous ingredients that have serious health consequences.

One such product is the 5-in-1 Cleansing Conditioner made by Wen Hair. This product both cleanses and conditions hair using only natural ingredients. Instead of using synthetic fragrances, WEN’s Cleansing Conditioner relies on natural botanical oils that smell amazing and are completely safe.

WEN’s Cleansing Conditioner is much more gentle than commercial shampoos and conditioners. The natural ingredients used in WEN’s product protect hair’s natural oils that keep it soft and healthy.

This product also avoids ingredients that are known to dry hair out. Chemicals such as sodium lauryl sulfate, a leading ingredient in most commercial shampoos, have been proven to damage delicate hair strands. However, WEN’s Cleansing Conditioner uses plant-based ingredients that clean hair effectively yet safely.

If you’ve been relying on synthetic fragrances to make your hair smell delicious, it’s time to switch out these products for natural alternatives.
